NASCAR Whelen All-American Series

Dominion Raceway & Entertainment is a motorsports complex located in Thornburg, Virginia. The facility is a home to several NASCAR events. It also hosts street racing events, SCCA races, and Superkart events. Besides its road course, Dominion Raceway & Entertainment has a 1/8-mile drag strip.

Ticket prices are reasonable and the race track offers overnight camping passes. Fans can meet the drivers. After the racing finishes, the pits will be open for spectators to watch them practice. During the day, spectators can watch the track from the stands.

In April, Ryan Blaney won a short track race at Woodford, VA. He is currently fifteenth in the Weekly Series Division III national standings. His team, Action Express Racing, runs his #31 Cadillac.

There are several different tickets available for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Tickets start at $0.00 for seats near the track. Higher ticket prices are for seats at the upper levels of the grandstands. If you want a closer view, you can also buy tickets for the upper decks.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series will visit Dominion Raceway and Entertainment in Woodford VA on May 30 for a race that is part of the ComServe Wireless Memorial Day Classic. This event will feature a 55-lap road course race.

The Dominion Raceway Road Course is two miles long and features banked turns, a straight stretch of 2,700 feet and a minimum 36-foot width. A long sweeping left hander provides plenty of passing space.

In addition to the K&N Pro Series East, the K&N Pro Series West will make an appearance at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, OR. Another track that will be visited is Mobile International Speedway in Alabama.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West schedule will also include races at Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, CA. And the championship season will be rounded out at Virginia International Raceway.

This year’s schedule will be a bit different from what we’ve seen in recent years. Not only will we see the return of Douglas County Speedway, but we’ll also see the return of another track from the past: Utah Motorsports Campus.
